So Dark The Con Of Man

At the Microsft confrence at E3, Microsft talked about the future of the X-Box 360. They talked about various hardware and games and waited to the end to announce the biggest title in X-Box History. Halo 3

Due to hit stores in 2007, the (about) minute length trailer shows Master Cheif walking towards a crater in a large desert. He is carrying a gun that looks like the Assult Rifle from Halo CE. (Is this a hint at something?)

The video shows The Cheif continuing to walk towards the crater as a Covenant Capital ship flys overhead also towards the crater. Cortana flickers in an out through The Cheif walking towards the crater. (I believe she is talking, but I don't have good sound on this computer)

As The Cheif reaches the crater, he looks down into a pit that lightning is striking the center. The Capital Ship slows as hundreds (or thousands-to hard to tell) banshees fly in.

The center of the crater cracks open as a building rises from it. It is definatnly forerunner and looks like the Controll Room from Halo 2. (The Ark???)

NOTE: All the folowing is what I remember Cortana stating. I saw the video before but didnt have time to publish. It is relativly corect; the Idea is the same. I just dont have it word-for-word.

Cortana flickers over the screen and states "I know your past."

It shows the building rising from the ground.

Cortana flickers back over the screen. "I know your future."

The building looks like a giant electircal surge and the screen goes white. Cortana states "This will be the end of the world."

The video goes on to show the Halo 3 emblem, the X-Box 360 emblem, and than it says 2007 in Halo font.

Well, I am halfway through the day and I thought I would post an update.

I am in Study Hall right now and I am bored. Im sure you want to know more so I'll talk some more.

Well, I am currently at the Public Library of my city and I am about to Leave. This will be my third and final post of day one. Thats enough for me.

If you dont know, I do not have acces to Internet at my house so I can only update during school, or when I am at the Public Library. Even than I cant guarantee anything because of school work or the line for the computer at the library.

I am about to go see a play that will be put on by our High School drama department. They are presenting "Steel Magnolia" tonight and tomorrow. I support our drama apartment and this is a play that is by this years Seniors. I have many Senior friends and I dont want to see them go. Good luck to you guys!
